I hadn't heard of this show until just now, but this may be the thing that gets me to finally subscribe to AppleTV.

I actually lived a work experience a lot like this: I spent 20+ years as a medical transcriptionist. Even before I started working from home full-time in 1999, I had no relationship with my coworkers because we were each plugged into our headsets listening to the doctors, so there was no office chatter, nothing to connect home to work. Then I'd come home from work and wasn't allowed to talk about anything I'd typed, so there was nothing to connect work to home. Eventually, I sort of trained my mind to forget every report I typed as soon as I sent it in. I'd clock out at the end of the day and I could tell you how many lines of text I'd transcribed that day but couldn't recall details of a single report.

I'm currently in school for a career change (museum studies, graduating this fall if all goes according to plan), but even if worst comes to worst and I'm not able to find a museum job, I'd do just about anything rather than go back to transcription.

I devoured this interview. Severance has been one of the best shows to come out this year. My husband and I look forward to unraveling the mysteries every week. I immediately head to Reddit afterwards to see what others thought of the episode, and figure out which new theories are being pedaled. SO GOOD.
