A Perfect Corn on the Cob of Links & Recs
One link/rec for every kernel on the cob
It doesn’t get dark here in June until around 10 pm, and last night I had a truly perfect corn on the cob right around that hour as part of one of your dinners where you start talking and keep talking and oh we have to take the dogs on a little walk and keep talking and pour another glass of wine and whoops it’s 9 pm, we should probably turn on the grill? One of those nights. Which meant I was starving when the corn was ready and debating whether or not I was going to go through the rigamarole of adding butter but then I took my first bite and THE CORN WAS SO GOOD IT DIDN’T NEED ANYTHING. No butter, no salt, just a perfectly grilled ear of corn at twilight.
You might not like corn, but I’m still sending you that moment of satisfaction. And a full cob (
of recs & links, which is one of many benefits of becoming a paid subscriber (for whatever reason getting access to these is often the thing that pushes people who’ve been meaning to subscribe to actually do it; if that’s you today, welcome!)
