Your words are so true. I quit my high-stress, decent-paying day job for one with much lower stress, nicer people, in my field - and much lower pay a year ago in June. I was going to give myself a year to get experience, get back into the groove of being productive and not just reactive at work, hone some skills and connections, then start looking for a higher position with more money this summer. Now that's not going to happen, and I'm very, very tired of the whole grinding journey I've gone on for no real good reason at this point.
