Jason Stahl's article about the Amtrak derailment is just superb. So much kindness and understanding in the approach to the story as well as from each person who was interviewed.

I related so much to the Myth of Visible Abs and the Overtraining Syndrome links!

As someone who has had pelvic floor surgery, I have learned how much abs play a role in all parts of the body functioning correctly. Frustratingly, I have the opposite problem where I need to be constantly consciously activating/engaging my abs (pulling in my navel) because otherwise my body doesn't automatically do it and I start wrongly overusing other muscles instead. I know my issue is directly related to having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome combined with having a baby and previously losing a lot of body weight.

And while I don't have overtraining syndrome, I am currently dealing with being on the edge of burnout from anxiety/depression as well a knee injury from running, so there's that.

I saw your recommendation of a different puzzle with national parks by that same company a while back and it inspired me to order it for my wife, an avid puzzler. She is doing it now and CANNOT stop raving about how much she loves it!

What a great story about the train derailment. My uncle was road master for the Great Northern Railroad, which became the Burlington Northern Sanra Fe, in Havre for more than 20; years in the 50s and 60s. My grandmother and I took the Empire Builder from Spokane to Havre every summer. More recently my husband and I took it from Seattle to Chicago.
