Snack trays are the best! Usually a cheese or two, some sort of veggie based dip (TJ’s vegan Buffalo dip or the red pepper-eggplant spread they sell in jars, aka ajvar from SE Europe), crudités, grapes or apple slices, cornichons or olives, fig jam, crackers or flatbread. Sometimes a cured meat, sometimes some almonds.
