🤣🤣 Yes, this happens! I've learned that owls can sometimes mistake hats, ponytails, or buns as prey. This happened to me once, except the owl slammed its talons onto the back of my head (AKA onto my fox tail-resembling ponytail). Incredibly shocking experience, but when it realized I wasn't what it wanted, it calmly flew away. Wild experience!
