Does the interview subject for the Q&A need to be a public figure, or someone with an academic/media background? I'd love to discuss fandom, JK Rowling and transphobia with a trans HP fan I know who has personally grappled with those issues (if they're willing) but they're not someone with a public platform--just someone whose perspective is really interesting to me.

I am too. Should I — age 76 but also "strait, white, cis-gendered, et al — prepare a pitch?
